Welcome to Pups, Paint & Prosecco! I’m Ruth an artist, devoted dog mum, journalist and enthusiastic explorer with a deep love for art, travel, and a splash of Italian lifestyle.
Originally from the small, sun-soaked island of Malta, I’ve always felt a deep connection to Italian culture (Florence feels like my second home!). My constant companion, Roy — a spirited red miniature poodle who brings daily doses of joy, fur, and inspiration to my life — is my sidekick in all things creative. Together, we explore everything from brushstrokes on canvas to cobblestone streets, blending our love for art, travel, and the small, charming details of daily life.
Pups, Paint & Prosecco is all about celebrating a mix of everything that makes life interesting – dog mum tips, my latest art projects, behind-the-scenes glimpses with my poodle (he has quite the personality!), and collaborations with local and foreign artisans. Whether I’m sharing pet care tips, my art, travel stories, interviews with influential personalities and artisans or a few prosecco toasts to celebrate the little moments, I hope this space brings inspiration and fun to your day.

• Travel to Australia… with my poodle, Roy! 
No quarantine, please — or let’s at least bunk together!
• Meet Kate Middleton 
So I can marvel at the most beautiful ring in the world up close.
• Jet off in a private plane 
First stop: somewhere fabulous!
• Own a campervan (especially a VW 70s classic!) 
Ready to road-trip in true retro style.
• Take that campervan on a work-anywhere adventure 
Remote life + open road = bliss.
• Go to the moon 
Because, really, why not?
• Drive all of Route 66 
…and ideally do it in that campervan!
